With extensive experience in international trade within the technology sector, Paulo Milliet Roque has forged agreements with over 100 companies worldwide, including those in the USA, UK, Ireland, France, Taiwan, and China. He is a distinguished speaker, having delivered numerous lectures on vision, products, and services. As a founder and owner of various companies and entities, Paulo demonstrates remarkable entrepreneurial acumen.
Paulo is the Co-founder and President of ABES (the Brazilian Software Association), established in 1987. Under his leadership and that of previous leaders, ABES has grown to encompass approximately 2,000 associates and affiliates across 24 Brazilian states, generating more than 260,000 direct jobs and annual revenues of USD 20 billion, representing 85% of the Brazilian software market. ABES is committed to promoting a more digital and less unequal Brazil.
In addition to his role at ABES, Paulo is a member of AARB (the Brazilian Registrar Authorities Association) and serves as Director and Co-founder of DigiForte, a Certification Authority founded in 2014 that issues official digital IDs accredited by the Brazilian government. As an entrepreneur, he was a founding partner of several companies, including BraSoft and Brasoftware.
Paulo holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo (Poli USP), Brazil, having graduated in 1976.
